What are we having for dinner?

Answer

Walker Homestead will be providing different types of pizza and salad for our guests. There will be gluten-free and vegetarian pizzas provided. Please let us know if you have a different food allergy or need separate accommodations.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be shuttles to and from the venue from the Iowa River Landing area. More details to come.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions unless stated on your invitation, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. We appreciate your understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Whilst we love little ones, we kindly request a child-free wedding to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive at the venue around 4 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Our ceremony starts at 4:30 and would like everyone to have plenty of time to find their seats.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Women can wear dressy casual/semi-formal attire. Sundresses, cocktail dresses, skirts with a dress shirt, dressy pantsuits, etc. Men can dress in business casual attire with ties and jackets optional. We ask that our guests avoid wearing jeans, shorts, or T-shirts.
