EL DORADO ROYALE & EL DORADO CASITAS ROYALE is a 5 star adult only resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They have a 10K square foot greenhouse on property where they organically grow their own veggies and herbs. It’s a larger resort so has tons of great amenities such as a kayaking tour, bike tour, or just nice large pools with swim up bars yet it retains the boutique atmosphere. The beach here is nice and long so a great walkable beach, but there is only one area where you can get in the water due to the world’s 2nd largest reef being right off shore. They are actually building the world’s largest artificial reef here off shore! It’s called Kan Kanan. We have included a video clip about it below. It’s pretty incredible. The owners of the hotel are uber eco friendly so are paying for this out of pocket to protect Mexico’s shore and sea life. Every room has a Jacuzzi and is very nice inside, all have been refurbished recently with modern Mexican decor.
