The #1 thing to do is go to the beach! Long Beach features a long boardwalk for a fun walk or bike ride. You can also find rental chairs and umbrellas along the Boardwalk. On weekends in June, anyone over 13 needs a pass for the beach. The Allegria provides guests with passes, or you can purchase one at a designated location by the beach for $16 - see the linked FAQs for locations.
We have shuttles to Rockaway Hunting Club from The Allegria at 9:30AM and 10:45AM on Saturday if you'd like to visit the pool or play pickleball. If you want to play pickle, bring a paddle! If you don't have one, we have extras! When you drive in on Ocean Ave, the clay tennis courts and golf will be to your right (southeast) and the grass tennis courts, pickleball courts, and pool will be to your left (northwest). Find Caroline and/or Caldwell by the pickleball courts to help get signed in. The club asks guests not to use cellphones, but if you have any trouble, text Caldwell at 240-743-7755. Shuttles will depart from Rockaway to return to The Allegria at 1:30PM and 3:00PM. If you miss the shuttle, Uber or Lyft is your best bet!
