Yes! There will be an open bar available for the evening to get alcohol from. There is a strict rule at the reception venue for NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. Please respect this rule and enjoy drinks from the bar on us for the night.
Yes! The dress code is semi formal attire.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones be put away and turned off/silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want!
Yes, there will be a shuttle running to and from the Wyndham Minneapolis South/Burnsville Hotel to the reception venue (Chart House) throughout the night. The shuttle time details are below. Please utilize the shuttle service and book your stay at the Wyndham if you are planning on drinking alcohol during the night. We do not want anyone drinking and driving, so please utilize the provided shuttle. If you choose to stay at a different hotel in town from the Wyndham, the shuttle will not be available. Shuttle times are as follows: 4:30pm and 5:00pm - from Wyndham to the reception venue (Chart House). 11:00pm, 11:30pm, and 12:00am - from the reception venue (Chart House) back to the Wyndham.
Yes, there is complementary parking, and cars can be left at the venue overnight. However, all vehicles must be picked up by 12pm on Sunday. If you are considering leaving your car, please bring one of the shuttles to and from the reception venue to avoid the hassle of picking up your car the next day.
The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors, but the reception venue features an outdoor patio and garden area where guests are welcome to mingle. We’ll also have yard games available outside. If you plan to spend time outdoors in the evening, please bring a jacket.
The ceremony will be assigned seating in the first few rows for immediate family members. Otherwise, you may sit wherever you please. For the reception, there will be a seating chart to view when entering.
