What is the best airport to use to get to the wedding?

Answer

Chicago O'Hare (ORD) is the best airport to use to get to Lake Forest. From O'Hare, you can rent a car or use an Uber to get to Lake Forest.

What is the best hotel to use for the wedding?

Answer

We have a room block at the Forrester Hotel (see Travel section for link to the room block). Transportation will be provided between the Forrester and the ceremony/reception on Saturday. There are other hotels in the area if you would prefer to stay at a different hotel.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

You do not need to rent a car. You can get from O'Hare to Lake Forest via Uber and transportation will be provided between the Forrester and the ceremony/reception. Ubers are also available in Lake Forest. However, if there are other activities you are interested in doing (e.g. see Lake Michigan, explore Lake Forest) a rental car might be valuable.

If I want to drive, will there be parking available at the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Yes, if you would like to drive there will be plenty of parking available at the church and the reception venue.

What time does transportation leave for the ceremony?

Answer

The bus will leave from the Forester at 5:00pm on June 11th.

What is the bus schedule after the reception?

Answer

There will be a shuttle running throughout the night from the reception to The Forester. The departure schedule will be posted at the reception.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

The wedding is cocktail attire. Men should wear suits and women should wear cocktail dresses.
