Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire for our wedding. We suggest men wear suits and dress shirts, and ladies wear cocktail dresses, midi or dressy maxi dresses, or elegant separates. Please refrain from wearing denim or dresses in colors reserved for the bride (i.e., white, cream, or ivory).

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name will be listed on your formal invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. If you have any questions prior to receiving the formal invitation, feel free to reach out to us.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will provide shuttle buses to the venue from both hotels in our hotel blocks. There will also be transportation after the wedding reception to both the after party and both hotels. Please let us know on your RSVP if you will be using the provided shuttle bus from either location so we can properly accomodate everyone.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm sharp. We suggest arriving 20-30 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to settle in, enjoy some welcome champagne, and get ready for our ceremony! The venue staff asks to arrive no earlier than 5:00pm.

Are ubers available?

Answer

You can easily find an Uber in the Leesburg area to the venue. Ubers are not readily available in Bluemont or from the venue after the reception, unless pre-scheduled.

If we drive to the venue, can we leave our car overnight?

Answer

Yes, but your car must be picked up no later than 11:00am the following morning on Saturday, May 9.

We have set up hotel blocks at two hotels in Leesburg, VA if you choose to stay there. You can find more information on these blocks under the "Travel" tab at the top of this page.
