WHAT DO I WEAR? Cocktail Attire: What to Wear to a Cocktail Wedding Men: A suit of any color is appropriate attire for men attending a wedding with a cocktail wedding dress code. Suit jacket optional as it will be very hot outside. Women: Dress of various lengths, including tea-length, knee-length, mid-length or floor length, is appropriate attire. It’s a small step above semi-formal, though not as formal as black-tie optional or black-tie. Go for a balance between elegant, appropriate, and comfortable :)
