We have a discount code for the Wyndham Bayside San Diego, but feel free to stay wherever you want! There are lots of Airbnbs close by. Some good, convenient neighborhoods are Little Italy, Gaslamp, North Park, South Park, University Heights, Mission Valley, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, La Jolla, Birdrock, and lots of others! If you have any questions on where to stay feel free to reach out, we can help!
Uber or Lyft! The venue is a yacht docked in downtown San Diego. There is some parking available, but it tends to be expensive and limited to only a few hours.
The wedding will be outside! The ceremony will be at sunset and the reception will immediately follow. There are some indoor spaces on the yacht, but it will primarily be outdoor or semi-outdoor.
There isn't a dress code, but we'd love to see you dress in your best party attire! Keep in mind the ceremony and reception are on the yacht throughout the evening. In San Diego, August weather ranges from lows around 68° to daytime highs around 77°.
There will be a boarding window that we will share closer to the wedding date! The boarding window is dependent on the sunset time, so we can make sure everything gets timed up properly. It will be between 5-6pm, but we will update this and make sure everyone gets this information before the day of the wedding :)
San Diego is a beautiful place! There are many beautiful spots to see, but some of our favorite things are the seals in La Jolla, Balboa Park, walking and trying food along the Embarcadero, going to a Padre's game, visiting the Torrey Pines glider port, and visiting many of the gorgeous beaches! The mexican food in San Diego is very authentic and a must-try!
Of course! We only ask that photos are kept to a minimum during the ceremony. We'd love to see what pictures you take :)
We don't have one yet, so we will update this once we decide on one! In the meantime, feel free to send us your ideas!
