Things To Do
Hi! Caroline here—I’m so happy that Abhinav and I can have you join us on an island that’s so near and dear to my heart. I haven’t missed a single summer in Andros since I was 10 years old. So, as a self-proclaimed Andros expert, I’m excited to share my recommendations.
Andros is what I would call a relaxing island—a place where I tap into my inner peace before returning to the chaos of America. It’s know for its variety of beaches, hiking trails, windsurfing, and lamb dishes. Hiking is definitely dependent on heat, but swimming is a must! I’ll scold you if I hear you didn’t take a dip in those waters!
There are numerous beach bars on the island, but unlike Mykonos, it's a family-friendly environment where “partying” is contained to a little foot tapping here and there.
The center of Batsi is about a 20-minute walk or a 10-minute drive from the wedding venue. I highly recommend visiting during your stay, as it’s teeming with restaurants, cafes, bars, and small shops.
