Maid of Honor
Caroline's bestie since birth! Cait is Caroline's cousin and they're only 10 months apart. Caroline has always considered Cait to be more like a sister, in addition to Cait's actual sister Amanda! Growing up a street away from each other, they have always been inseparable. Be prepared for lots of laughs (and general loudness) when these two are together! There are just too many memories to pick favorites, but a few top ones are the amazing cruises they've taken together, Disney trips, and Arizona (ask Cait about the funniest moment they've ever had...we love you Amanda!).
Matron of Honor
Caroline's cousin, but really more like a sister! Amanda deserves an award for dealing with the craziness of when her sister Cait is combined with Caroline! They've shared so many memories including several trips they took - to Arizona, Las Vegas, Disney/Universal, and Nashville just to name a few! Amanda was always a trendsetter in Caroline's eyes and she wanted to do everything Amanda did - from Brownies, to dance, to field hockey and more! They share a love for wine and country music and have had many great times enjoying both!
Bridesmaid
Kiersten is Caroline's sister-in-law! Kiersten came into the family over 10 years ago and Caroline is so lucky she did! Kiersten is an impressive athlete and was so supportive of Caroline running her first (and probably last!) half marathon, she volunteered and joined Caroline on her 10 mile training run! Kiersten continues to inspire Caroline - they ran a half marathon as a relay team (Mike and John made great cheerleaders), and have another big race coming up a month before the wedding! Caroline's favorite memories include the Disney trip where Cait and her serenaded Mike and Kiersten with love songs all week (sorry Kiersten)!
Bridesmaid
Rebecca is John's sister and Caroline is so excited to have her as her soon-to-be sister-in-law! Rebecca is a sweetheart and has welcomed Caroline into the family. John is only 16 months older than Rebecca, so they grew up close. After watching Beauty and the Beast, John would chase Rebecca pretending he was the beast and Rebecca was Belle! The siblings enjoyed family vacations to Disney World, New York, and California. One of Rebecca's best friend's growing up ended up being Caroline's study buddy in college - what a small world!
Best Man
David is John's younger brother! David is 10 years younger than John, and unfortunately John was David's role model while growing up (just kidding!). John remembers when David was born and loved watching him grow up. David would refuse to allow John to have a friend over the house unless David was also invited to play. The brothers would play intense games of Madden football that often ended in violence (sorry, Mom!). On very rare occasions David would win. The brothers share a love of sports and they enjoy analyzing game tape and discussing trades and signings. David followed in John's footsteps and is also attending UMass Lowell. John is looking forward to David turning 21 so they can go out to the bar!
Groomsman
Mike is Caroline's brother! Mike is 4 years older than Caroline and while he may have destroyed several toys (RIP Furby), they always had fun growing up! Mike met John for the first time by going to a shooting range together. Nothing like meeting your girlfriend's older brother and seeing his full gun collection within the first two minutes! Luckily, John held his own shooting and Mike didn't scare him off. Mike is also married to Kiersten, and they are the parents of Connor and Audrey - the best nephew and niece (not to mention ring bearer and flower girl) a couple could dream of!
Groomsman
John Krieger has known John (or JD as he is called) since elementary school. They were in the same first grade class. John and JD became great friends in high school when they routinely played videogames until midnight on school nights. The John's would spend nights walking the Chelmsford High School track discussing the complexities of life. John Krieger would also bike as JD ran. Since graduation they have been on numerous trips together and look forward to many more!
Groomsman
John and Tim met through Tim's brother JD when they were in high school. John spent most of his free time at the Doherty household shooting hoops, swimming, and playing Mario Kart and Medal of Honor. They grew closer on annual Doherty family vacations to Cape Cod, where both discovered a love of kayaking. In college they enjoyed dining at high class restaurants including the 99 in Lowell and Applebee's in Tewksbury. Since then they have enjoyed planning trips to Vegas, Cape Cod, and Portland.
