The Star is the World Headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys and is steps away from Hall Park Hotel. The Star offers dining, shopping, entertainment, and daily tours of the facility. Some of our favorite restaurants here are: Ascension Coffee: On Saturdays & Sundays, try the Cali Burrito & Pumpkin Pancakes, and a Biscoff Latte! Mi Cocina (Mexican): Skinny Mambo Taxi is a must :) Sidecar Social (Sports Bar)
For those who love the Cowboys (or hate the Cowboys but love football), check out a guided tour at The Star!
A large food hall located within the Legacy West shopping district with a wide variety of eateries, bars, and entertainment on the outdoor stage. FYI - Legacy Hall can get very packed on the weekends and seating is first come first served. From Hall Park Hotel: 2 miles (5 minute drive)
If you've never been to La La Land, we highly recommend! It is one of the most beautiful coffee shops with mission of spreading kindness and helping the community. You must order one of their famous avocado toasts - "The Queen" toast with an egg is our favorite! From Hall Park Hotel: 2 miles (5 minute drive)
If you're looking for activities, check out Grandscape! The large outdoor shopping center is home to a variety of experiences like Andretti Indoor Karting, Cosm, PopStroke, Puttery, and more. From Hall Park Hotel: about 4 miles (10 minute drive)
A classic Dallas spot (the original is downtown Dallas) in the burbs! One of our favorite outdoor patios to enjoy a margarita and queso. FYI - It's open seating and it can get very busy on the weekends. From Hall Park Hotel: 8 miles (15 minute drive)
Where we got engaged on 05/25/24 and where we took our engagement pictures. From Hall Park Hotel: 27 miles (45-60 minute drive)
For those who are spending multiple days here, definitely add the Fort Worth Stockyards to your list to experience the history of the old-west! Cattle Drive: Every day at 11:30AM and 4PM (weather permitting), the cattle drive travels through the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards on East Exchange Avenue in front of the Livestock Exchange Building. Every detail of the cattle drive—from the saddles and chaps to the boots and hats – is authentic and historically true. Mule Alley: Grab a drink at the famous Hotel Drover for an elevated-Texas experience, or Second Rodeo Brewing for a more laid-back outing. It is a bit of a trek so we recommend planning your drive to/from around rush hour to beat traffic. From Hall Park Hotel: 46 miles (approx. 50 minute drive)
