Diego's best friend. Let's just say Diego wouldn’t have passed Biology without Behrouz’s help. Behrouz is a doctor to many in the UK, but he’s also Diego's unofficial emotional support guru, swooping in whenever his anxiety starts doing cartwheels. Psychologist by vibe, not by license. Diego calls it outsourced peace of mind. Behrouz calls it Tuesday. Over the years, their bond has only strengthened. From countless visits across the Atlantic—Behrouz in the U.S. and Diego in London—to a recent adventure together in Switzerland, they've never let distance get in the way. Behrouz now lives in London, UK.

Diego's childhood friend. They met playing basketball when they were five—surprisingly, they didn’t make it to the NBA, but they shared plenty of adventures on and off the court including eating ice cream sandwiches and playing Playstation late at night after the feria. Alejandro now lives in Barcelona, Spain.

Diego’s friend from Dallas. At first, Diego wasn’t a fan of Carlos, but they quickly became close friends. Since then, they’ve partied together in more cities than they can count. Carlos now lives in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Caroline's sister-in-law (and of course, Diego's sister!). Caroline met Cristina in 2022 during her first trip to Málaga. Cristina now lives in Sydney, Australia.

Caroline's friend from Junior Kindergarten. They went to school together through eighth grade, and their families became friends along the way. Ellen now lives in New Orleans, LA.

Diego’s friend from Dallas. Since moving to Dallas in 2021, Erik has tried to leave Dallas countless times because he wasn’t a fan. Still, over the years, Diego and Erik grew very close—Diego is definitely feeling sad he has no one to share LA Gourmet pizza with now that he has left for good. Erik now lives in Munich, Germany.

Diego’s family friend. Diego has known Fernando since birth, and despite Diego being 6'4", Fernando is the only person in the world who still calls him Dieguito. They share many fond memories traveling the world together with their families since they were kids. Fernando now lives in Madrid, Spain.

Diego’s friend from Dallas. Juan and Diego met at a reggaeton concert and quickly bonded as the only two from Andalucia in their Dallas circle. Juan is always down for a beer—unless of course, his lawn needs some attention. Juan now lives in Dallas, TX.

Caroline's cousin on her mother's side. They met in 1992 at their grandparents house in Berwyn, PA for Caroline's first Christmas and have spent many holidays together ever since. Lally now lives in Mexico City, Mexico.

Caroline's cousin on her mother's side (and Lally's sister!). They also met in Berwyn for Caroline's first Christmas and have spent the same holidays with Lally together ever since. Megan now lives in Rumson, NJ.

Caroline's "cousin" on her mother's side (and Megan's BFF!). They often spent summers together and Caroline thought Natalie was her actual cousin for awhile. Natalie now lives in Pittsburgh, PA.

Caroline's friend from Purdue. Rachel was Caroline's sorority little-sis and they were roommates for three years throughout college. Rachel now lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Diego's friend from Dallas. Roberto is the first friend Diego made in Dallas. Recently, Diego and Roberto have taken up golf, pickleball, and volleyball—despite them sucking at all three, they still managed to win the 2024 pickleball recreational league championship. Roberto now lives in Dallas, TX.

Diego’s friend from Dallas. Sean and Diego met while working at Microsoft in 2018. Though Sean has been a digital nomad since 2019, they’ve always found cool spots to meet up—whether it’s the Malaga Feria, Denver, Nashville, Charleston, or Japan. Sean’s a solid basketball player, even if his catchphrase 'threes only' doesn’t quite match his game. Sean now lives all over, with a home base in Philadelphia, PA.

Even after fifteen years of living in different countries, Sergio and Diego have made international meetups their thing—catching up in places like Italy, Germany, London, and the U.S. They share a love for Unicaja basketball and Semana Santa, and Diego probably FaceTimes Sergio almost as much as he does his own mom. Sergio now lives in Malaga, Spain.

Diego’s friend from Dallas. Bonded by their love of all things sports—whether it’s the Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers, or Stars—Diego and Tim are always talking shop and trading memes. Tim proudly serves as Diego’s assistant GM in their fantasy basketball and football league, though their playoff record suggests that this title may soon be removed. Their shared hot take? Dwight Powell is the most underrated center in the NBA. Tim now lives in Dallas, TX.
