FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is a formal event and we would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! There will be a Black Tie Optional dress code in place for the wedding. For women, this includes formal and full length dresses. For men, tuxedos or dark suits would be appropriate (feel free to ditch the tie once you hit the dance floor!). Please refrain from wearing white.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You can RSVP as soon as you'd like! Please make sure to RSVP "yes" or "no" by February 14th, 2026. This allows us to give our vendors a correct count prior to the wedding. RSVPs that are not provided by February 14th will be counted as a "no".

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Thank you so much for travelling the distance to celebrate with us! We have provided a list of hotels near the venue that you can book with for the night! This will be located under the travel tab with links provided for each hotel to check availability and book.

Question

Is there parking available for the wedding?

Answer

We encourage those planning to drink alcohol to carpool with a designated driver or take an Uber/Lyft to and from Common House. For those that plan to drive, Common House has a free dedicated parking lot for this event located at 417 W. Marshall. There are also two nearby paid lots located at 101 W. Grace St. / 3 min away / $5 daily max and 115 N. Foushee St. / 5 min away / $10 daily max. There is also free street parking on Franklin, Grace, Broad, Marshall, Clay, Madison, Jefferson, and Monroe Streets.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting at 5:00pm. To avoid being late and missing anything we recommend arriving by 4:30pm, to ensure parking and finding a seat before it starts!

Question

Can I take photos / videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our amazing photographer, Kate Hunter, will be there to capture all the moments of the ceremony! We kindly ask that phones be put away and silenced during the ceremony portion. Feel free to take as many photos/videos as you wish once the ceremony has ended.
