In August, Bogotá enjoys mild weather with temperatures ranging from 64°F to 70°F (18°C to 21°C) during the day and cooler evenings around 46°F to 50°F (8°C to 10°C). While it’s part of the dry season, we recommend bringing layers and a light jacket for the evenings.

Opt for Uber Comfort for a more comfortable ride, and always double-check the license plate to ensure it matches your app before getting in. We suggest using Uber over hailing taxis from the street for added convenience and safety. If needed, hotel staff can assist you with arranging transportation as well. Additionally, we will have vans available to shuttle guests to and from the wedding day event and hotels.

We recommend leaving flashy jewelry and watches at home to avoid drawing unnecessary attention. Also, be mindful of your phone—try not to walk with it in hand—and always keep your belongings, like purses, secure and within sight. With these simple precautions, you’ll enjoy everything Bogotá has to offer with peace of mind!
