“I first met my sister Carolina fairly soon after I was born. Being five years old, she was initially disappointed that I didn’t do much other than sleep, but she warmed up to me soon enough. Since then, I have had two decades’ worth of so many happy memories with her that it is hard to pick a favorite. Some top contenders, though, are playing Minecraft with her and our cousins as kids, many nights spent talking to her in her room, both discussing deep things and laughing over stupid jokes until she fell asleep, and belting out the lyrics to Weezer songs with her at concerts. One thing that I think most people don’t know about her is that she actually is a ninja and went to secret ninja school for middle and high school. Trust me, it’s true. She told me herself when I was ten. My role as the maid of honor is to support her in any way that I can through this beautiful start to a new life. I couldn’t be more excited and happy for her.”
