Carolina's story: Shiky aka my good friend said he had just the right person to introduce me to (Collin). I wasn't too sure if this was indeed a good option, since let's just say Shiky's friends I've met have been "interesting," to put it nicely. Nonetheless, the risk taker that I am, I said he should bring said Collin to a bbq I was having. When he first walked in I was too nervous to even look at him. I kept being the hostess with the mostest and making sure everyone was doing well. When I finally sat down to eat, of course Collin sat next to me to chat it up with me. I instantly felt the chemistry. We continued the night with more chatting and he even danced salsa with me! It was obvious he liked me. ;) Next day he texted me and asked if I wanted to go on a date! I was so happy he wasn't playing games because he knew Latina's don't play that. From that point out our relationship flowed organically. I know this sounds cheesy, but I didn't believe in love at first sight until I met Collin. Collin's Story: Shiky, aka my business partner, called me randomly to invite me to a cookout in LA and said he wanted to introduce me to his friend who was hosting the party. He gave me her background, said she was single and that she even had good credit! It sounded too good to be true, but after he sent me a picture of her, I was sold! I came up to the cookout and I was a little bit nervous. She had a really impressive business background so I knew this was going to be a tough sell and I was going to have to use every ounce of charm that I had. When I first saw her, it was even more of a shock because she was prettier than the pictures and I realized I was in deep waters. Nevertheless, I mustered up some courage to go sit next to her while we were all eating and from that moment on, we were inseparable. She would say that was due to her Latina hips and beautiful brown eyes, but I truly think that the universe blessed us with the opportunity to find our best friend/ partner.
