Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No strangers are allowed to come. Regardless if you are family or a friend. We want to be surrounded by loved ones who we know and are comfortable with. Kids are okay to bring - PLEASE include them in your RSVP or contact Gabriel or Carolina. ***Alcohol will be at the event, so please take care of any minors***

Can I take any centerpieces home?

Answer

The only item guests can take home are the photograph frames on the tables of the bride and groom. These are the gifts made for the guests to remember this special day of ours! Please do not take anything else unless we say so.

Can I take pictures and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. However, our only request is that you tag each post with #Caro&Gabe2023 so we can track and reminisce all of the memories!

Does the wedding have a theme?

Answer

There is no set theme. Our main colors are ivory/white, burgundy, and navy blue. The overall feel of the wedding is woodsy and nature. Please try to avoid these colors within your attire if possible (a white top is okay for those who wish to wear one, just not full-dress).

Do I have to follow the dress code?

Answer

Yes, if you can, please follow the dress code. Although, your attire does not need to be anything fancy. Attire is business or smart casual, and NO WEARING MAROON, NAVY BLUE, OR FULLY WHITE for any main clothing. Feel free to wear comfortable shoes! The groom and best man will be wearing Converse or similar shoes! The wedding will be held outdoors. Plan for possible chilly weather. The elevation is more than 6,oooft. If you have any trouble, feel free to contact Gabriel or Carolina.

How do I get to the wedding location?

Answer

If you are able to use GPS on your smartphone or other device, look up “Gomez Peak”, located in Little Walnut, or put the following into the address search bar: Little Walnut Rd, Silver City, NM 88061 From Highway 180 in Silver City, head Northwest on Little Walnut Rd. Continue onto Little Walnut Rd for about 5 miles, and the destination will be on your left. Look for the Gomez Peak recreation area sign. If you have any trouble, contact Carolina or Gabriel.

How do I RSVP? Is there a deadline?

Answer

You can RSVP online within the wedding website! Go to the “RSVP” tab and fill out yours! Feel free to also RSVP via contacting Gabriel or Carolina with your (and your guests’ if applicable) full name, address, and phone number. We will not have physical copies of invitations. Please RSVP the soonest you can! A deadline will be by 11 March 2023 (Saturday). Please do not feel obligated to attend, and do not feel bad if you cannot attend! Life happens, we are very understanding. Just let us know if you can make it or not.

Is the venue wheelchair or stroller friendly?

Answer

Answer

We do not need or want any household items. We would only like cash or money donations for a honeymoon! The”REGISTRY” tab on the wedding website has a selection for our honeymoon fund. This links to Venmo to send money. We will also be accepting cash gifts at the wedding! What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The reception! Games if anyone would like to play (corn hole, possibly volleyball, dompe, and horseshoes), drinks, food, and dancing!

What is the schedule for the day?

Answer

2 PM - Wedding begins 2:30 PM - Ceremony 3 PM - Reception - Anything after 3PM could include food, drinks, games, and dancing 7 PM - Begin cleaning up 8 PM - Finish up and go home! The following day, there will be a get together at Gomez Peak again (where the wedding was held) to eat some food in the morning, and say goodbye before everyone goes home!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it, no worries. We are understanding that life happens to everyone. Please let us know as soon as possible! RSVP “NO” on the wedding website or with Gabriel or Carolina.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend you arrive minimum 20 minutes before 2 PM, or a max of an hour before! We would like everyone to be on time for the ceremony and get the day started!

What will there be for food & drinks?

Answer

Food will include: Chicken - Covered W/ Chipotle Sauce And Pieces Of Bacon Mashed Potatoes Steamed Vegetables Salad Drinks: Water Sodas 3 signature alcoholic drinks for the bride, groom, and dog of honor (best dog, Albus). Please bring your own alcoholic drinks (beer, coolers, or liquor) as we do not want to buy something that everyone will not enjoy! Feel free to share, as well, if you would like.

What will the weather be around this time of year? (MARCH-APRIL)

According to: https://weatherspark.com/m/3086/3/Average-Weather-in-March-in-Silver-City-New-Mexico-United-States The weather around March and April: High can be anywhere from 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Low can be anywhere from 35-50 degrees Fahrenheit.

Where do I park my car? Is parking free?

Answer

There is a parking lot within the recreational area, and some extra parking just outside the designated area within Little Walnut. Parking is free!

Where do you recommend guests to stay?

Answer

There is no hotel block reserved for the wedding. Silver City has plenty of local and chain motels, hotels, and cabins to stay at! Check out the “TRAVEL” tab on our wedding website to look for potential stays!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

There will be some vegetarian options available! Probably nothing that is 100% vegan.

Will transport be provided? Is parking free?

Answer

Transport will be the guest’s responsibility. Parking is free! The recreational area itself hold about 50 vehicles. Please carpool or plan accordingly! If you have any trouble or need to carpool, contact Carolina or Gabriel before the wedding day.
