Harry P Leu Gardens in Orlando Florida is a peaceful 50 acre botanical garden. It has a rich diversity of Florida plant and animal life. Its one of Central Florida's best places to visit. Its also not far from the venue & Park Ave!
Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive
FREE Florida wildlife drive. This is the BEST Florida nature option on your trip. This is a unique bird & wildlife location as it is the only sanctuary in the state that you can see such a specifically vast array of aviary life as well as Florida gators. I would be surprised if you did not see at least 12-15 gators. Best to visit between 6am-8am. its about a 40min drive through the whole experience. If you have the chance, please, please do check this out!
Enzian Theater
A beautiful local theater that holds a significant voice for the film industry. It has great food, drinks, & movie options that you will absolutely adore.
New General Cafe
One of the best local coffee, breakfast, & lunch spots. A fantastic location and interior to get work done or relax. One of our favorites.
Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour
The Scenic Boat Tour in Winter Park is a laid-back, hour-long cruise through the city’s lakes & canals, passing beautiful homes, lush gardens, & wildlife along the way. It’s an easy way to see the area from a different perspective & enjoy some quiet time on the water. Sarah & I have always loved it.
Rollins Museum of Art
FREE museum at a beautiful campus with great access to historic lakes & rich local history. Fred Rogers, the creator and host of 'Mr. Rogers Neighborhood' went to Rollins College! The museum has no evergreen pieces so its always rotating artwork & displays. Its a beautiful walk & highly recommended to wander.
Winter Park Avenue
Park Avenue in Winter Park Florida is a charming old street that has been the heart of the town since the late 1800s. It is the kind of place where you just wander with no plan passing brick sidewalks shady trees small shops cafes museums & tucked away courtyards with great characters. A lovely place central to a lot of the things to do in the area! There is free 4hr parking at the nearby train station.

A beautiful free garden & park to get with incredible views & walk-able to most great activities listed here.
Mennello Museum of American Art
The Mennello Museum of American Art in Orlando is a cozy museum on the edge of a lake that focuses on American folk and contemporary art. Its standout collection is the colorful paintings of Earl Cunningham & a great place to wander.
Kos Coffee
Kōs Coffee in is a great spot with really good coffee and a relaxed vibe. One of our favorites to visit as well.
Mead Botanical Gardens
Mead Botanical Garden is a great FREE spot for wandering & rewards the adventurous with a hidden, half broken boardwalk. If you manage to adventure through it via parkour, you will discover an incredible community maintained refuge with local artists artwork & more.
Renninger's Flea Market & Antique Center
This is a fantastic place to find great film, vinyl, & accessory items for your niche interests at fantastic prices. Always a classic for Sarah & myself.
Wekiwa Springs
Wekiwa Springs State Park is a beautiful natural spot north of Orlando with a clear spring, river, & forest trails. You can swim, kayak, or hike while spotting wildlife.
