Balboa Park is a beautiful park filled with gardens and museums. It's a great place to spend a day exploring with your family.

Balboa Park

This is a great family friendly beach! Perfect for an afternoon beach day. If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent kayaks or surfboards for a day of water fun. This is where we had our engagement party!

la Jolla Shores Beach

Looking for a short hike? Well, Ryan would consider it more of a stroll... 
Torrey Pines has some great easy hiking trails that overlook the ocean!

Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve

This is our favorite Italian restaurant! We recommend getting the lobster ravioli and the classic ravioli, that's our go to!

Trattoria i Trulli

If you are looking for a casual brunch spot by the beach, this one is our post-surfing favorite! It has all of your classic bunch and lunch foods and the upstairs seating area has a great view of the beach.
