When should I RSVP by?

Question
Can I ride the shuttle if I'm not staying in one of the hotel blocks?
Answer
Yes, you may. However, please note that pickup and drop-off will be from the main hotel blocks between the Courtyard by Marriott North and Fairfield Inn North or the Hampton Inn, so transportation between the shuttle point and your accommodations will be necessary. Please mark your preference regarding the shuttle when you RSVP.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately dogs will not be allowed at either the Friday or Saturday event. If you need recs for pet-friendly hotels or boarding, please reach out.

What is the dress code?

Friday's welcome event is cocktail attire, and Saturday's ceremony is black-tie optional.

Is there parking for the welcome event or ceremony?
Answer
For Friday's welcome event, parking is extremely limited. We recommend catching a ride share. There is parking at the Central Grounds parking garage ~1/2 mile from The Lawn. For Saturday's reception, free parking is available at Guildford.

How does the end of night shuttle work?
Answer
We will have early (9pm) and late shuttles (10:45pm). Both shuttles will drop off at the Courtyard by Marriott North, Fairfield Inn North, and the Hampton Inn. The late shuttle will make its final stop at the Downtown Mall for anyone wishing to explore Charlottesville Nightlife. Guests will be responsible for their transport from the Mall back to their accommodations.

I have a food allergy or other dietary restriction, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes, please note this in the RSVP under 'Are there any dietary restrictions that we should know of?' and we will work with the caterer to accommodate.
Question
Are there reliable Ubers/Lyfts/taxis in the Charlottesville area?
Answer
Yes, ride share and taxis are plentiful in the city of Charlottesville, but less frequent as you get out of the city towards vineyards or the wedding venue. It should be possible to get a ride to the venue, but calling one back to Cville may be challenging. We suggest using the shuttle or personal vehicle for the wedding and reception.
