(If you are not staying at the cabins, please RSVP by email by the end of March - caro.jaime55@gmail.com) We realize the RSVP situation is a little confusing so let me try to explain a bit more. Our Save the Dates ask you to RSVP by December 1st. This is just a preliminary RSVP that you will complete by letting Davis and I know that you have no prior commitments for May 26, 2022. You will also discuss with us your preferences about sleeping accommodations. After everyone lets us know and we have a stable list of guests, we will contact you about paying for your cabin (please reach out to us if you have not heard from us yet). ONLY ONCE YOU PAY FOR YOUR CABIN WILL YOU OFFICIALLY BE CONSIDERED TO BE ATTENDING. Please reach out to us if you have any further questions!
The wedding will not have an open bar (sorry!) and all guests will be responsible for buying their own drinks other than champagne and wine with dinner. The venue has a strict no-outside-alcohol policy so please do not bring bottles into the venue. That being said, nothing's stopping you from keeping some in your cabin (just please don't get us in trouble).
Technically speaking, no. The lodging policies say we may not host afterparties in their cabins (penalized by keeping our $600 deposit). However, we would like to be able to spend some time with you guys after hours so we have to be on our best behavior. That means keeping music and voice levels reasonably low and not making a mess!
We are asking that everyone either get vaccinated (and boosted, preferably) or get tested a few days prior to the wedding so that we can all enjoy our time together. The venue will require masks to order drinks and grab dinner at the buffet so please bring one with you.
