Bride
[From Sean] If I had to describe Ashley to someone that had never met her, the first things that come to mind are that she is strong, loving, spiritual, and a crazy cat lady! When she sets her mind to something, there is no doubt in my mind that she is going to accomplish it. She's hardworking, she trusts "the process" that comes with becoming a physical therapist (thanks for the motto Nick Saban), and she always knows how to put a smile on my face. Her love for animals, especially to that of Taco, is always evident and visible. She makes me, along with everyone else that she surrounds herself with a better person. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her. I love you! Roll Tide!
Groom
[From Ashley] When people who haven't met Sean ask me about him, I describe him as a "puppy". He is enthusiastic about life, generally happy, and has the energy of a golden retriever. Sean makes friends literally everywhere and thrives in a crowd. He keeps things lighthearted and spreads goodness wherever he goes. The other way I think of him can be summed up from our trek across the Grand Canyon last spring: I love that he indulges my adventurous spirit and never leaves my side. He is a steadfastly supportive, patient, and caring person. Looking forward to decades of memories with you, Mr. Michigan! Taco and I love you very much!
Sister of Honor
While I usually feel like my big sister and I are very different, our stories are actually quite similar. Aside from sharing parents and DNA, we've both gone from Brentwood to Bama, shared a brief stint in NYC, and now graduate school at Belmont University! We were each other's lifeline during our first marathons and help each other trim the cats' nails. I have made sure to keep my sister close through all of life's major events. She remains one of my greatest influencers and I learn a great deal from her. I had the honor of standing beside her on her wedding day exactly 2 years ago and am grateful she'll do the same for me!
Best Man
When I had to make the decision on who would be the best man in my wedding, it only made sense to have both Austin and Ryan be my best men. The 3 of us have been incredibly close since we were freshmen in high school and that bond has only strengthened over time. While careers have brought us to different places around the country, we have still put together numerous road trips and shared a lot of laughs along the way. How good of friends are they you ask? As noted in the picture above, they brought a cut-out of my face to bring to tigers opening day when I was at the Masters with my dad so I would still be in the pictures! They've always been there for me and I am forever grateful for that.

Officiant
Jonathan has been Ashley's pastor and friend for 3 years. He and his wife, Cheri have been constant supporters of Ashley's endeavors and now her upcoming marriage. He has been an invaluable mentor for both Ashley and Sean as they prepare for a life together! Jonathan is an expert in Biblical theology as well as comic book heroes!
Bridesmaid
Amanda and I first met when we both entered Brentwood Academy as tragically awkward 7th graders. Now 2 decades later, she remains perhaps the most thoughtful, loyal, and generous friend I've ever known! We have traveled across country together and lived together for 7 years! After countless job changes, pets, heartaches, and a million laughs, we are family. She was an integral part of Sean's proposal and we are fortunate to have her share in our wedding day and our lives!
Bridesmaid
Elise and I met as young sorority pledges at Alabama. We were first introduced by Tara and quickly became close friends. My best college memories all include Elise and a few years ago, she decided to make Nashville home! Elise and her husband, Ben, have been some of my dearest friends for over 10 years now, and have graciously adopted Sean into our clan. It is a privilege to continue making memories with them in our adult lives!
Bridesmaid
While Sean and I first met in May 2015, we credit Heather for our ultimate union which occurred a few months later, because she (unintentionally) invited us both to a random trivia night. Heather and I became friends through Elise (fellow bridesmaid), and very quickly established our own bond. No matter where you are or what you're doing, if Heather is there, you are going to have a good time! Each of my lovely bridesmaids has played an important role in Sean's and my relationship, but Heather is the one who started it all! Look for her on the dance floor and karaoke stage, and prepare to be amazed!
Groomsman
"Intimidated" is the first word that comes to mind when Adam was my locker partner in 7th grade. He was tall, loud, and played football. Basically everything I wasn't at the age of 12. Turns out he's not too bad after all. As a matter of fact, he is one of the most caring and genuine people you will ever meet. He's still tall, he's still loud, and he'll tell you what's on his mind, but I wouldn't have it any other way and we've had some great memories together.
Groomsman
Ethan (feels weird saying that, he'll always be "dome") and I have been good buddies since high school. We both share a love for Michigan athletics (that love can sometimes turn to hate - Ashley can attest to that lol!), good music, and sports in general. We've had some great road trips cheering on the Wolverines and it is never a doubt that we'll have a good time along the way.
Reader
Courtney is the Port to my Starboard... literally. We raced side by side for the Alabama Crew club many years ago, and she solidified her place in my heart forever! We've only lived in the same state for one year of our nearly-15-year friendship, but somehow miles don't seem to separate us. I will always appreciate Courtney for her fiery wit, her brilliant mind, and her straightforward honesty. She has always supported my ice cream habit and my personal goals. I am excited to share this special memory with her!
Scripture Reader
Geoff came on scene in the summer of 2013 as Tara's new boyfriend. I was dying to meet him after they'd had a couple months of successful dates. After all, it would take a very special man to impress my sister. He has always been incredibly welcoming to me and encouraging of my goals and ventures. We've become semi-regular concert buddies while he and Sean share an appreciation for local breweries. Geoff is a fantastic storyteller, he's wildly creative, and we love him dearly!
Wedding Planner
We have LOVED working with Erin for the second time, she was involved in Tara's wedding in 2016! She is extremely organized and efficient and offers an experienced opinion for big and small decisions. Having planned weddings and events for many years and in multiple cities, she's easy-going but gets things done! She has been extremely helpful in every stage of planning and has been flexible with meeting times. We highly recommend Erin to plan your weddings, special events, and bachelorette parties! Dress Designer
Andrea was one of my classmates and my best friend in the fashion program while at Alabama. She was always very talented, and I knew she would go on to make beautiful things. While she's always worked on high-fashion dresses (while working and raising two children), it wasn't until early 2017 that she opened Lula Blue Couture bridal shop in her hometown of Double Springs, AL. Since she was already married, we often talked about designing a one-of-a-kind dress for me one day. After more than ten years, that dream has come true! Andrea's level of detail and sophistication is impressive. My dress is very special and I can't wait to show it off, but I am most thankful for the experience I've had with my dear friend in seeing it come to life. Visit her at lulabluecouture.com.
