Every great love story starts somewhere — ours just happened to begin at Slippery Rock University. Olivia was a junior, Logan was a sophomore, and thanks to Greek life, our paths crossed in a way that felt effortless. From the moment we met, things just clicked. Before we knew it, we were spending nearly all of our time together — in fact, it quickly became a running joke that wherever Olivia was, Logan was sure to be just a few steps behind (and not much has changed since). Our first date was at the local Chipotle — simple, casual, and perfect for us. Over burrito bowls and awkward first-date chatter, we laid the groundwork for what would become something really special. From campus events and late-night study sessions to navigating all the ups and downs of college life, we were by each other’s side through it all. When Olivia graduated and moved back home to begin her career as a teacher, we started our long-distance era — filled with trading weekend drives and late night FaceTime calls. It wasn’t always easy, but we knew we were in it for the long haul. After Logan finished his final semester and graduated, it wasn’t long before we packed up and moved in together, finally in the same city again. We settled into our first apartment, started building a life of our own, with our very important third roommate — our sweet pup, Lanie. Since then, we’ve made so many memories — decorating our first Christmas tree, hosting tiny dinner parties in our cozy space, and learning the little rhythms of daily life together. We’ve grown, we’ve laughed (a lot), and we’ve built a foundation we’re incredibly proud of. Now, we’re so excited to take this next step surrounded by the people we love most. We can’t wait to celebrate, to start our forever, and to keep growing together — side by side (with Lanie in tow, of course).
