We’re getting married!

It all started with a swipe on Facebook Dating. At the time, we were living in two different worlds, literally and logistically, with him down in Fort Mill, SC, and me up in Raleigh, NC. Jalal was very intentional from date one. He traveled all the way to me just to take me to dinner before my night shift. We met at Starbucks, shared a coffee, and browsed through Triangle Town Center where he tried to buy me perfume. We ended the perfect date with reservations at Perry’s Steakhouse. He followed that up with a couple more visits to North Carolina, prompting me to take him seriously. This led to me traveling down to Fort Mill to visit him. Determined to see where this spark could go, I took a travel nursing assignment nearby so we could finally date in the same zip code. It didn't take long to realize this was the real deal. The year 2025 turned out to be our biggest chapter yet. In April, we found out we were expecting and later learned a baby boy would be joining our team. Fast forward to September 15, 2025: the exact day we were moving into our new townhouse, surrounded by boxes and chaos, he completely surprised me and proposed. To top off a life-changing year, our perfect Christmas miracle arrived right on Christmas Day. From long-distance to a home of our own and a beautiful baby boy, we can’t wait to finally make it official on February 27, 2027!
