We’re getting married!

Christmas 2022 I bought tickets to see the NY Rangers! I thought I was buying tickets to see them play in Philadelphia. I was so excited and saw the “P” in Pittsburgh and stopped reading the rest of the word and just assumed it said Philadelphia. I bought the tickets and then realized the Rangers were playing the Penguins in Pittsburgh. So we decided to make a trip out of my mistake and it turned out to be the best decision! The week arrived that we were going to Pittsburgh and we had found out that we were approved for our first apartment together! So for the weekend we decided we would celebrate while we were in Pittsburgh! We arrived at our hotel and I could tell something was on Dan’s mind! He asked me to marry him privately and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We aren’t very showy people so I was happy that it wasn’t in a setting that was public. I so quickly said yes. Our night of celebrating our lease signing turned into our night of celebrating our engagement! My silly mistake of buying the wrong tickets for the wrong location, turned into the most amazing weekend!
