Brittany moved to the keys, jobless, in August 2015. So, she went to Plantation Key School, unknowingly where Peggie (Tim's mom) works, to complete some paperwork to become a substitute teacher. Brittany's mom, Mary, of course went with her. Sure enough, Mary and Peggie decided their children must meet! Brittany was horrified that she was being set up while trying to gain employment. But, she gave Peggie her cell phone number and about two weeks later Brit and Tim met at a local brewery and hit it off!
