For both Ryan and I, we both grew up around each other, going to the same schools and camping with each other with our family friends. We knew about each other but didn’t share the same friend groups. We finally connected at a mutual friend’s graduation party. After talking with each other most of the evening, he asked to take me out to church and a hike at Mineral Ridge. Fun fact: The pictures taken in our gallery were taken at Mineral Ridge by our skilled family friend, Taylor Hancock! After two years of adventures together, Ryan decided to pop the question the day we moved into our first apartment together in August of 2025. We were standing on the balcony enjoying a summer night after a long day of unpacking. Ryan bent down on one knee on a beautiful starry night and asked if we could spend the rest of our lives together. Of course the answer was yes!
