The Wirick wedding

We met at Hanover College, in the Katherine Parker freshman dorm. Maxwell had already been on campus for a week with the football team for their preseason. Amanda arrived shortly after for her soccer preseason. Amanda and her roommate Kelsey had a friend over to play card games... but you need 4 people to play euchre. Amanda went to the bathroom while the other friend went looking for a 4th person. Just one floor down and one room over, Maxwell was sitting at his desk with his dorm room door open, studying the football playbook. Maxwell did not hesitate when asked if he wanted to go upstairs to play euchre. When Amanda returned from the bathroom, she saw Maxwell sitting on the floor of her dorm room. They won euchre and every other card game they played during preseason. Amanda and Maxwell became best friends throughout the first semester of college, and it wasn't until the last day of the semester, when Amanda was walking to her final at 2 pm on the last Friday, that Maxwell asked her to be his girlfriend. The next several years offered endless adventures for us all over the country. After 6 full years of love, laughter, and long-distance, Maxwell asked Amanda to marry her in downtown Cincinnati before walking home to a celebration with friends and family. And now we eagerly await the day we officially become married and spend the rest of our lives together as one!!!
