Open on the 4/5/6 subway platform at Union Square. It's late on a Saturday night, toward the end of summer 2016. Ben was going home from a concert. Carmen was going home from a comedy show. The train wasn't showing up. Carmen turned to the guy next to her and asked, "Excuse me, do you know if this train is running?" Ben replied, "I think so," then followed with "How was your night?" We chatted until the train came, and kept talking until Ben's stop. Time didn't allow for exchanging numbers, so Ben offered his business card, explaining "I'm a photographer." They texted that night, and went out a week later. It was the MTA's greatest moment.
