Our family and wedding party are invited to stay with us at the wedding venue, if they choose to do so. Check in will be on Friday 5/22 at 3 PM and check out is on Monday 5/25. at 10 AM. More details will come soon. For those not staying at the wedding venue, we added a few recommendations under our travel and accomodations page on this website. Along with those, we also recommend checking out local hotels and agriturismos in Florence or the nearby towns of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, and Greve in Chianti. There are many beautiful and budget-friendly options! Airbnb and Vrbo can also be excellent options, especially for those traveling in groups or looking for stays with more space and amenities.
Car Rental: Recommended for the easiest access to Castello di Bibbione and exploring Tuscany. Available at all airports. Train: Trains run from Rome and Pisa to Florence’s Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Station, where you can rent a car or arrange a transfer. Private Transfers & Taxis: We will be arranging transportation for those not staying with us at the venue—stay tuned for details!
Yes, there will be plenty of parking for everyone!
We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited to those on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Please ensure your passport is valid for at least SIX MONTHS beyond your travel dates (i.e., until at least November 2026). If your passport expires before then, renew it as soon as possible. Standard U.S. passport processing takes 8-11 weeks, and expedited processing takes 5-7 weeks. If you need to renew, we recommend doing so at least 6 months before the wedding to avoid any issues. For official U.S. passport information, visit: https://travel.state.gov.
We recommend purchasing an adaptor for all of your electronics (you can search "Italy travel plug on Amazon"). Pack a clear quart bag for your toiletries for airport security checks. Don't forget your ID and passport!
Italy uses the Euro (€) as its official currency. Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Amex) are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shops. Some small cafes, markets, and taxis may only accept cash, so it’s good to have some Euros on hand.
May in Tuscany is beautiful! Expect temperatures between 60-75°F with plenty of sunshine. Bring light layers for cooler evenings.
