The In-N-Out of Mexico, but for amazing tacos! There are several locations across Mexico City. Their menu is in Spanish, but they only have three tacos on their menu- steak, chicken and pork. Don’t forget a side of beans!
One of the top restaurants in Mexico City. Make a reservation weeks in advance or show up at 11:45AM and before doors open at noon for a walk-in. Be sure to get the tuna and scallop tostadas! Wash it down with a Carajillo for dessert (a two ingredient coffee cocktail that puts the espresso martini to shame)!
This bakery serves a fantastic variety of pastries known as pan dulce in Spanish. They are particularly well-known for their guava pastry, which features a croissant dough filled with cream cheese and Mexico’s city’s finest guava jam.
Churro heaven. They offer a variety of dips- including chocolate; condensed milk; hazelnut; and my personal favorite cajete (caramel). Pairs well with a hot or cold coffee from their menu, or even a decadent milkshake.
Learn about Mexico's fascinating history at Chapultepec Castle, a grand 18th-century palace atop a hill in Mexico City. The palace houses the National Museum of History, which showcases impressive murals and stunning stained glass galleries. You can also take a leisurely stroll through the castle's manicured gardens and enjoy the panoramic views of downtown. Make sure to set aside enough time to relax and enjoy the sprawling Chapultepec Park nearby, too
Cruise along Xochimilco's floating canals and gardens in a traditional trajinera canal boat. It's colorful, vibrant and over a great time! Bring beers (or buy them there) and food available for purchase along the canals. Def recommend!!
