Bride
It did not take long for me to realize that Carmen was meant to be my wife. I have always lived life in fly by the seat of my pants style, and while that has gotten me a long way, Carmen has brought a stability to my life that I did not know I needed. She is the calm to my storm and anchors me in ways I never thought possible. She has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. Through her I have become a more kind and gentle person. She makes me a better man everyday and I thank God for blessing me with her to help me understand my potential as a human being. -Lynn
Groom
Lynn is the most incredible man I’ve ever met, he is everything I have ever looked for in a husband. He is kind, loving, patient, confident, gentle, funny, loyal, and so much more. His discipline in every aspect of life is something I didn’t know I lacked, but it’s now something I couldn't live without. From the beginning, I've told Lynn that he’s chaotic. I have always been so serious and calculated and Lynn has introduced the perfect amount of chaos into my life. He has taught me that not every problem is life or death, sometimes you just have to laugh your way through it. He makes every day better than it would have been without him. He is my home, my safe place, my comfort. I can’t thank God enough for bringing us together. -Carmen
Matron of Honor
Carmen’s sister—We fought a lot when we were younger, but as the years pass, I've learned how incredible a sister's love can be. We continue to get closer as we get older and I'm so thankful for the relationship we've built in adulthood.
Best Man
Lynn’s best friend—We met in 11th grade when we had every class together. We have been roommates most of our 20s and have been through every life experience of maturing into adulthood side by side.
Matron of Honor
Carmen’s best friend—We met in college and instantly clicked. She is the best friend I could ever ask for and exhibits true unconditional love! I can count on her for anything and she is my biggest hype girl. She’s the Rachel to my Monica. Bonus points for giving me a tiny best friend: Mia Jolee!
Groomsman
Lynn’s brother—We fought like brothers typically do in our early years, but as we have grown he has become a rock I depend on. Our conversations these days in person are few and far between but I cherish them more than ever. Our phone conversations always make my day better. We’ve lived apart most of our adult years, but I have never felt closer to my not so little brother.
Bridesmaid
Carmen’s first childhood friend—We met before I can even remember, when we were babies, at church. We’ve had 20+ years of fun and adventure together! We’ve been there for each other in every stage of life. My favorite trip I’ve ever been on was with Hannah to North & South Carolina!
Groomsman
Lynn’s childhood best friend—We met in 5th grade but really became best friends in early high school. Alex spent essentially every weekend with me at my grandparents' house and was known to hang out with my family even when I wasn’t around. He is essentially extended family to the Coles.
Bridesmaid
Carmen’s childhood best friend—We met in the 6th grade. Rebekah moved all the way to Gulf Shores at the end of that school year but we have always kept in touch. I am so proud of her for achieving everything she has set her mind to. Rebekah is a light to anyone who has the privilege of being around her and I’m beyond thankful to call her my friend!
Groomsman
Lynn’s childhood friend—We met in 8th grade and instantly hit it off. We have shared many laughs and funny moments together. We have a dynamic that you would have to witness to understand. Manny is someone that can make me belly laugh with just a text from the other side of the country.
Bridesmaid
Carmen’s friend—We met in college and although we don’t live super close we love catching up. We are very much alike so we are able to talk about anything! My most fond memories with her are from our beach trip! Summer is always so kind and ecstatic for me when anything new is happening. She always knows the right thing to say and is so encouraging. I am so thankful for her wisdom and support.
Groomsman
Lynn’s childhood friend—The brother of my childhood best friend Alex. I always enjoyed third wheeling sitting back and watching his and Alex’s brotherhood dynamic play out. Zack has always been someone I’ve looked up to and admired. Someone who knew how to have a good time but never let it interfere with your goals. Zack taught me, even if he didn’t know it, that you can have it all in life if you never lose sight of what’s important.
Bridesmaid
Carmen & Lynn’s friend—We met through her husband Evan who is one of Lynn’s groomsmen. The four of us hit it off right away and we love spending time together. Lara and I never run out of things to talk about while the boys are off doing guy things. Their two girls, Oakley and Layton, have easily become two of our favorite kids.
Groomsman
Carmen & Lynn’s friend / Lynn’s coworker—Evan will always have a special place in my heart as my first work best friend in my post-college era. We hit it off really fast when he started at Torch after me. Lara and Carmen have hit it off since we started working together and it’s been amazing watching Evan and Lara evolve as parents to Oakley and Layton.
Flower Girl
Mia is Carmen's Matron of Honor Cassandra's daughter. She has been such a light to our lives since she was born. She is funny, smart, sassy, and loving. She likes Lynn more than she likes Carmen, but we'll forgive her for that since she's so cute. We couldn't think of anyone better to be our sweet flower girl! We love her like our own child.
