Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jeffrey Wang and Carmen Li
We’re so excited to share some of our favorite things to do in Portland! If you have extra time, we also recommend exploring the Pacific Northwest— the Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood are about an hour away, and the coast is just an hour and a half away.

Coava Coffee Roaster

This is a local coffee roaster, Carmen's favorite beans. There are several locations around town

Churn Cafe

Churn Cafe

3928 North Mississippi Avenue, Portland, OR 97227

Asian fusion brunch and crepes.

Broder Café

Broder Café

2508 Southeast Clinton Street, Portland, OR 97202

Scandinavian brunch and lunch spot—one of our favorite places. There are two locations in town, and there’s almost always a wait if you don’t go early, especially on weekends. The east side location has fewer seats, so the wait tends to be longer.

Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chai

If hiking isn’t for you, you can take a few photos of the waterfall from the viewpoint and stop by Multnomah Falls Lodge for brunch or grab ice cream from the snack shop at the trailhead. (Hiking pass required)

Angel's Rest Trailhead

For a bit more challenging hike at the Columbia River Gorge, Angel's Rest is a popular 4.6 to 4.8-mile roundtrip, known for its panoramic 270-degree views, elevation gain ~1,500 ft, and rocky bluff summit. The first time Jeffrey did this hike, he was sweating ^^x. (Hiking pass required)

Tom Dick and Harry Mountain

If you want to see a beautiful snowcap of Mount hood, Tom, Dick, and Harry is a moderate 8.2mi and 1,700 ft elevation gain round-trip hike with beautiful views of Mirror Lake and the mountain. It’s a bit of a climb, but the panoramic views at the top are well worth it on a clear day. (Hiking pass required)
