We're getting married!!!

We were first introduced in 1996, Derrick was 16 and I was 15. The first time we met was wild, and crazy fun (just kids, being kids). Our friendship was instant, and quickly elevated to a caring, supportive teenage love. We were inseparable, we went everywhere and did everything together, even working at the same McDonalds. Our relationship ended two and a half years later after Derrick enlisted in the Army, and I joined the Air Force. We would not speak again until 23 years later, in May 2022. Since then and like before, our friendship, chemistry, and enduring appreciation for each other were instant and we have been inseparable ever since.
