Where is El Salvador Located?

Answer

El Salvador is a country in Central America, bordered by Guatemala, Honduras, and the Pacific Ocean. It’s known for its beaches, volcanoes, and warm hospitality. Despite being the smallest country in the region, it’s rich in nature, and adventure. From Canada, it’s usually a 5–7 hour flight, depending on your departure city and flight route. The main airport is San Salvador International (SAL).

When should I book my flight?

Once the exact date is confirmed, we would recommend booking your flights at least 3 months in advance.

Will accommodations be provided or recommended?

Answer

While we are not providing accommodation, we’ll be sharing a list of recommended hotels near the venue. To make your trip as smooth as possible, we’ll be offering shuttle services between the airport and the hotels, as well as between the hotels and the wedding venue. More details will be shared soon!

Do I need a visa to travel to El Salvador from Canada?

Answer

Canadian passport holders do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. You’ll just need a valid passport (make sure it doesn’t expire within 6 months of travel), and you may need to pay a small entry fee upon arrival (around $12 USD).

If you would like to bring an additional guest to celebrate with us, let us know and we will be happy to accommodate if possible.
