Aside from being a stellar Trivia partner, Jessica is a loving friend and the closest thing to a little sister Carmen has ever had! SMU brought them together but their friendship quickly flourished as they joined Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. and navigated through life together. As one of the closest friends to witness the budding romance between Daniel and Carmen, Jessica is a true day one.
Rumaldo Robles

A gentleman with a kindness rarely seen. Rumaldo has been a loyal friend with an eagerness to explore and learn new things. His sport knowledge along with his charisma makes him the perfect candidate for Jeopardy. As a friend, he's visited Carmen and Daniel multiple times in the city and every single time has been a memorable one. These small things along with the character he upholds make a him a great friend and a stellar best man.
Elishah Ramos

From spending recess together in middle school to summers throughout the NorthEast at PSTP and finally reuniting again at SMU, Elishah has been Carmen's most trusted and loyal friend since 7th grade. Carmen has always admired Elishah for his incredibly jovial demeanor, his love for his family, and his dedication to his professional career. Aside from his consistent support, Elishah is always up for a good time, often encouraging and engaging in Carmen's shenanigans!

Daniel's Belizean brother and one of Dallas' stellar Civil Engineers. With a 'mamba' mentality, he radiates professionalism and hunger to accomplish new feats. Orlando has been there from the beginning and continues to be an admirable friend with a bond stronger than Titanium.

From the moment Carmen and Olivia met in their Master's program, they knew they were kindred spirits. Unexpectedly, their commutes back to Queens after night classes quickly turned into heart-to-hearts laying out a candid, sincere and caring foundation for their friendship. Witnessing her union to her husband Aaron, Carmen and Daniel have found true lifelong friends in them both. Olivia has taught Carmen a tremendous amount about love, family and courage.

One of Daniel's first friends at SMU. Gus brightens any room and provides the comedic relief one needs when you're feeling down on your luck. Moreover, he's always available at a moments notice for a quick trip to Vegas. As a brilliant engineer, Gus continues to succeed and push the envelope of what's possible in a person's career.

Much like a White Tiger, Icenic is a rare beauty. Carmen met Icenic at SMU where they had the opportunity to learn and grow together and eventually joined Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. together. Reserved in nature but generous at heart, Icenic is the most candid, witty and insightful friend to Carmen.

A gentlemen in all references of the word. Alan, like Daniel is a Mechanical Engineer by trade but has grown to become a leader in all facets of his life. With a loving family, Alan has been a friend since college and someone to admire for all of his many accomplishments.

You wont find a more loyal and honorable gentleman than Gerardo. He's been Daniel's friend since the start of college and one his most trusted friends. Gerardo is known for pushing the status quo and having the street smarts to accompany his MBA.

She is beauty, she is grace. Idara was a freshman at SMU when she was assigned to live on Carmen's floor. Although relationships between an RA and her residents is usually one of advice, resource, and duty, Idara and Carmen quickly went beyond that as they laughed together and bonded over music and life. Since then Carmen has watched Idara flourish into a badass professional and is inspired by her unapologetic hunger for achieving what is meant for her.
