Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The plan is to have the ceremony and reception be indoors, and for the cocktail hour to be half inside have outside. Given that the wedding is in January, the odds of the ceremony being outside are low - however if weather is favorable (think 45 degrees and sunny) then we may look to have the ceremony outdoors in the courtyard of our venue.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional! This is a tuxedo or dark suit for men and a gown or long cocktail dress for women. We're excited to lean into the holiday party vibe.

Question

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

While we love your children - this is an adults-only celebration. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us.

Question

What time should I arrive and when does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4PM. We highly encourage all guests to be seated by 3:45PM.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We want a phone-free ceremony; our photographer is a wonderful professional and will ensure we get the absolute best shots! We will give everyone 30 seconds to snap some photos, then we respectfully ask you put your phone away — on silent. This way, we can enjoy the present moment.

Question

What is parking like?

Answer

Free surface-lost parking is located directly behind the venue. There is also a public parking garage located a block and a half away on Loudoun St.

Question

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

We highly recommend flying into Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), as it is ~20 minutes from the venue and hotel block.
