How did we meet?
Answer
It was September of 2015. Carmen had been invited to a party by a mutual friend of theirs. When she arrived, Jared was going around introducing his puppy, Jax, to everyone. As he was introducing both himself and his dog to her, Carmen asked to get a father son picture of them. After taking the photo, Jared asked that he send it to her, but got distracted and walked away before she was able to get his number. She shrugged, assuming she'd be talking with him again later at some point. However, when she got home, she'd forgotten all about it. She did not remember about the photo until two months later on Halloween night. For Halloween, she'd made plans with the same friends so knew she would be seeing him again. It was her mission that night to get his picture to him. Halfway through the night, she saw him and was finally able to give him his picture. He thanked her and they also ended up spending the rest of the evening together and had an awesome time. He texted her the next day thanking her for the picture, and asking her out on their first date. (Above is the picture that made it all happen!)

A Little Bit About Carmen
Answer
Carmen was born in November of 95 in Houston, TX. She was a swimmer throughout most of HS and a swim instructor throughout most of college. Carmen has a bachelor of science in psychology, a masters degree in Neuroscience and now works as an intraoperative neuromonitor. If you don't know what that means, ask her and she will talk to you about it for hours. Outside of work, Carmen likes to play the guitar, spend time with her dog Reina, and learn different languages.

A Little Bit About Jared
Answer
Jared was born in September of 94 in Enid, OK. However, he did not spend much time there as he moved around every few years. Jared has lived in several US states, the UK, Italy, and spent HS in Korea where he and his friends learned BMX. Jared has both a bachelor and masters degree in Accounting. He now works as a senior in the tech risk department of Ernst and Young. Outside of work, Jared likes to play video games, spend time with his dog Jax, and his best man is James. Definitely James.
