4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
This opening hour is a time to arrive in the space, gather with others, or reflect on your own. There will be blessing cards where you can write a message and sign your name, in lieu of a guest book, which you can drop off at a designated spot before you leave. You can also tie a piece of yarn onto our wooden rings (you'll see) as a symbol of your connection to us. There will be someone greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive, who will provide more information and direction as needed. A bell will ring at 5:00 to signal the beginning of the ceremony.
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Our ceremony will be in two parts. We'll begin with some words of welcome and a circle dance. Dancing is optional; if you are unable or prefer not to dance, your non-dancing presence is participation enough and will be greatly appreciated. We'll then move in a processional down to the amphitheater for the sit-down part of the ceremony.
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
We’ll have tamales from Good Golly Tamale and potluck-style sides (cooked by many of you-- thank you). The tamales are all gluten free, and some are vegan. The dinner will be self-serve, from serving tables indoors. Seating will be designated by table.
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
