We're Getting Married!

Jr. and I met via a dating app. He didn't have much to his profile, just his picture of himself and a blurry picture from a concert at Red Rocks. Once we started talking, we were both nervous to actually meet. Partially from having busy schedules and the occasional thought that one was going to kidnap the other. The first date was at Panera and over salad, soup and sandwiches we connected. From there we went to his favorite spot, my favorite spot and some place new. The best first date that either one of use could imagine. The rest, as they say, was history.

Jr. and I were having a date night in. So, we stopped in at Panera (food from our first date) and he set up a projector for a movie. Halfway through the movie, he had asked for the promise ring that he had given me, got down on one knee and gave a romantic speech to me, and assure me that he had asked for my dad's blessing as well. I of course said yes!

First comes love, then comes marriage.... We only have two fur babies right now, Stella (dog) and Nanz (cat), but we are praying and saving for a home where we might be able to have chickens, more dogs, more cats and of course children to run around in the backyard. We are letting God decide where he will place us and we will do what we will with the property that we are blessed with.
