How do I get around Asheville?
Answer
We do recommend renting a car to get around and explore Asheville. However, depends on the duration of your stay, Asheville does have Uber/Lyfts for those making a quick trip. For the Ceremony and reception - we will be providing shuttles from three locations (Room Block at Doubletree Biltmore and Antler Village on Biltmore Estate).

What is the weather in Asheville in October?
Answer
Asheville in October ranges from highs in the low 70s during the day to high 40s (fahrenheit) in the evenings. We recommend bringing a sweater or jacket for the evenings.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The Ceremony will be held outdoors on the grass (Ladies plan heels accordingly. We will also be providing some heel stoppers for the grass). Cocktail hour and reception will be in the tented area directly behind the ceremony. This area will be paved.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding theme is ethereal and elegant. Women may wear long elegant dresses/gowns - colors, florals, textures and patterns all welcome! Please no short dresses. Be sure to bring a sweater or blazer for the cooler evening. Men should opt for suits in rich, deep colors like charcoal, grey, navy, burgundy or a deep green. Accessorize as needed and don't forget a nice overcoat to keep you warm if needed!

This is mostly an adult-only event. Only children involved in the wedding will be in attendance at the reception. However, if there are any issues please reach out to us.

How long will Carmel and Andy be in Asheville?
Answer
We will be in Asheville from Tuesday, October 7 through Sunday October 12. For anyone that wants to come early or stay later - join us for some hikes or some dueling piano bar fun!
