Is the wedding in Virginia or Georgia?

Answer

We will have two receptions on different days. The first reception will be in Virginia on March 14, 2020. Those invited to the ‘Northern Reception’ will be sent an RSVP form containing more information. Likewise, those invited to the ‘Southern Reception’ in Georgia on March 21, 2020 will also be sent an RSVP form with more details. These events are RECEPTIONS ONLY. Nick and Carmela have decided to have an intimate destination wedding ceremony.

Are you having two ceremonies?

Answer

No. There will be two receptions to make travel easier on guests from both families (one in Virginia, one in Georgia). No reception will follow the private ceremony.

Will I be coming to the ceremony?

Answer

Since Carmela and Nick have decided on a “destination ceremony” only the bride and groom will be attending the ceremony.

What’s going on at the Receptions?

Answer

They’ll be just like your typical wedding receptions. There will be a cocktail hour, bride and groom entrance, toasts, buffet style dinner, cake cutting, and sparkler send off. The only thing NOT happening that day is the ceremony.

Is this like a shower? Do we bring gifts?

Answer

Sure! We will not be having a wedding shower, so feel free to check out our registries listed on our website. (Bonus points if you can guess who listed the squat rack—haha!)

We’d like to thank you all in advance for being respectful of our wishes. We realize everything is extremely untraditional, but we’re confident we’ll have a wonderful time surrounded by all the people who mean the most to us! ❤️

Sure! Please make sure you mark it on the RSVP form so a proper head count is obtained.
