What is the expected dress attire?

Answer

We are really only requesting that our wedding party be on the dressier side. As for our wonderful guests, wear whatever is comfortable and makes you feel good. That may mean a fancier wedding outfit and a change of clothes for the reception. Or it may mean that you come in your shorts and tee, and stay that way all day. Most importantly, know that the vibe is casual, and you're not stuck in stuffy formal-wear. Swimsuits are also welcome, there will be creeks to splash in, and two person hot tubs inside the lodge.

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

The average weather in August ranges from 82F during the day, with a low of 41F in the early hours of the morning. Sunscreen, bugspray, etc will be on-site but you can never have too much...!

Will I have cell reception at the Venue?

Answer

Nope... Sorry not sorry! Jokes aside, we do encourage you to bring your phones and cameras, as we are skipping the professional photographer. So please, take pictures!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible would be ideal, but please RSVP by July 10th latest. Thank you!

Why doesn't your registry have any tangible gifts?

Answer

Your attendance means the world to us. To have you travel out to celebrate with us, we couldn't be more excited. If you'd like to bless us with a gift please know that at this time we feel we have all the plates, products and gadgets we need. What we really want is to enter our matrimony stress free, debt free, and having had an incredible, memorable honeymoon. Thank you for helping us get off to the best start possible, in all the ways...!

Should I rent a 4-wheel drive vehicle?

Answer

If you are renting already, and have the option, 4-wheel drive will make life a lot easier... :) If you're using your own vehicle and it is not 4WD, we will still get you there, I promise! Just reach out and we'll make sure you know the game plan in advance.

Should I bring my kids?

Answer

We love kids! However, besides our ring bearer and flower girl, there probably won't be many in attendance... There will be open cocktail & cannabis bars and presumably a lot of smoke. Do whatever is best for your family :)
