Any suggestions for attire? What's the vibe?

Answer

Cocktail hour with a Summer Twist 💐 (If you could skip jeans, shorts, and sneakers) Ladies: Sundresses, midi or maxi dresses, or a fun, flowy jumpsuit. Floral prints, soft pastels, and cheerful colors fit the vibe beautifully. Add a cardigan or wrap in case it cools off in the evening! 💃🏻 Gents: Khakis, chinos, lightweight dress pants paired with a short or long sleeve button down shirt. You could also wear a clean, well-fitted polo. Feel free to skip the tie unless you really love the look! Neutral tones, soft blues, light grays, or subtle patterns are all great choices.🕺🏼 Shoe Note for the Ladies 👠 We’ll be on grass most of the night, so please go for chunky heels, wedges, or flats to avoid sinking and keep it comfy.

We love your kiddos—but for this party, it's adults only! We've got our tiny VIPs (aka ring bearer and flower girls) already on duty. Time for the grown-ups to let loose! 🎉

What address should I put in my GPS to get to the parking lot? Can I park my car overnight?

Address: 437 Buffalo Road East Aurora, NY 14052 Directions: Head to the far entrance—you’ll see Red Barns nearby. Look for the large gate with signage; that’s where you want to go in. Upon entering the park, you’ll see signage directing you to the parking lot and venue as well. Parking: There’s a large lot near the venue where you can park overnight if needed! 🌙

If I need accommodations can I drive up to the front of the venue?

You’re welcome to drive right up to the front door if needed—there’s a convenient wraparound entryway that loops back down to the main parking lot. Please note: the loop is for drop-off only and no parking is allowed in that area. As you come around the circle, just follow the posted signs to the ceremony site—we’ve got everything clearly marked to help you find your way! 👍🏼

Where are the restrooms?

If you're looking for a restroom, there are several located around Knox Farm. The closest ones are just inside of the Mansion to your right, and near the kitchen area. There are also multiple options upstairs if needed. A few volunteers will be helping us throughout the evening—feel free to ask them where the closest bathroom is. 🚻

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Snap away during the ceremony, we’d love for you to capture the magic! Just do us a favor: stay seated, turn off the flash, & keep your phone on silent. Be sneaky about it. Let’s keep the focus on the love! 🤍

What time should I be there? What time should I plan to leave?

Timing & After-Party Info We kindly ask that guests arrive around 4:00 PM to get settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM. This will give you time to grab a seat, and enjoy the park before the festivities begin! Just a heads-up: all music at the venue has to be shut off by 10:00 PM sharp, so the party will start to wind down around then. But if you're still in the mood to celebrate, the night doesn’t have to end there! 🍾 After the reception, we’ll most likely be continuing the celebration at a few local bars in East Aurora. Nothing formal, just good vibes and a nightcap (or two). If you're up for it, you’re more than welcome to join us!

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Our ceremony will be held right out front of the mansion ☀️ Then, we’ll keep the party going with a reception inside the mansion and out back in the yard. Think good music, great food, and dancing under the stars! ✨

What are your recommendations for transportation after the wedding?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle provided, so please plan your transportation accordingly. Here are a few options to consider: 🚗 Carpool – Great way to ride with friends and make it part of the fun! Rideshare – Uber or Lyft are available in the area, though we recommend scheduling in advance, especially for pickup after the event. Staying overnight? Consider booking accommodations nearby and coordinating a ride to and from the venue with your group. 🍸 Please drink responsibly. If you're planning to enjoy a few drinks, make sure you have a safe ride home or plan to leave your car overnight.
