Carly's older sister and lifelong role model. Growing up, these two could often be found out on the soccer field, in the dance studio, or recreating favorite movies using their parent's video camera (of which, hopefully no evidence still exists). Although they now live states apart, good food and adventure is always had when they get together.

Lindsay Ulbrickson

Carly's random college roommate turned forever friend. These two bonded freshman year over their tendencies to stay up late and their love for Cheez-Its and Grey's Anatomy. Fellow outdoor adventurer, Lindsay helped capture photos of Zach's proposal at Mt. Rainier that we'll remember forever.

Carly's college friend and roommate many times over. From sharing birthdays (a week apart) to living quarters, Lindsey has been there throughout all of life's ups and downs since they met, including when Zach asked Carly to go on their first date.

Carly's college friend and favorite karaoke star. Hilarious, supportive, and thoughtful, this former roommate has a knack for getting the party started. Tatiana is also part of the "Middle of the Pack" trivia team along with Zach, Carly, and a few others in the wedding party!

Carly's college friend and freshman year roommate. This fellow night owl is an enthusiastic and cheerful friend, and while notoriously late, always brings the fun. Any night out is sure to include some late night bites, with our favorite Seattle dogs top of that list.

Carly's college friend, former roommate, cat mom, and designated Game of Thrones viewing buddy. A hilarious, courageous, sarcastic, and supportive friend who is always down for a good laugh, movie, or takeout from our favorite places.

Carly's college friend, late night study buddy, and former roommate. With a lively spirit that is contagious to everyone around her, this hilarious and selfless friend is full of adventure. Despite living miles away in California, Hannah is always there to lend an ear or share endless funny photos of her dog, Penny.

Jake Peterson

Best Man

Zach’s best friend, and better known as “Chilly Willy.” They first met in elementary school playing tee ball and soccer together, but really started bonding over the summers while swimming for the Edgebrook Swim Team. Their nickname for each other as kids was Chilly Willy, and were so serious about the nickname that Zach would sometimes forget Jakes real name. They attended the same High School and although they didn’t attend the same College it didn’t stop them from making frequent trips to see each other. Jakes humor, energy, and good-nature is contagious to everyone around him. You couldn’t ask for a better best man.

Brett Alling

Zach’s younger brother. Growing up as kids, Brett and Zach were inseparable. They enjoyed doing all the fun and dumb stuff boys do at an early age. Brett is as decent a human being as you will find and he taught Zach so much about how to be a good person by just being who he is. He has a big heart, he rarely complains, and he’s always willing to help. Nick and Zach are lucky to have him as a brother.

Nick Alling

The youngest of the Alling brothers. Nick has always been the most creatively talented of the Alling brothers, and this is something Zach and Brett have always admired about him. When they were kids Nick would go through many creative phases like comic book writing, ventriloquism, and magic tricks. His passion in everything he does motivates everyone around him to try new things. You would have a hard time finding someone who has more positive energy than Nick.

Eddie Janicki

One of Zach’s closest friends. Their friendship started in their junior year of high school at Eastside Catholic. Eddie and Zach continued their friendship at Gonzaga University where they lived 3 out of the 4 years together. After graduating, they found a house in Montlake Seattle with a few other friends and enjoyed their early years out of college together. In total, they lived almost 9 years in a row together… until Carly broke that streak in 2020. Eddie is also one of the more devout Zag fans, and it’s very common to find him with Zach both screaming at a TV during a Zag basketball game. Over the past 12 years Eddie and Zach have experienced many life milestones together, and this wedding will be another great one to add to the list.

Keegan Short

Fact: Keegan is the best thing ever to come out of Craigslist. In 2018, Zach and his 3 roommates in Montlake Seattle needed a 5th person in their house after their long-time friend moved out. Unable to find anyone, Zach put a notice on craigslist and waited to see who would reach out. Out of the random group of people who contacted him was Keegan Short, a born and raised Chicagoan looking to move to the pacific northwest. They first met over Zoom and immediately hit it off. Within a span of 3 years Keegan went from being a complete stranger to one of Zach’s favorite people to hang with. There’s no sports team he won’t watch with you, and there’s no night out he’ll say no to. He is one of a kind.
