We met as freshmen at Chapman University where we lived next door to each other in the North Morlan dorms. While Tyler coincidentally joined all the Health Science kids on our floor as a business major, it seemed fate had a hand in the dorm selection… We started as close friends, frequenting ‘the caf’ for morning breakfast trips together. Although neither of us wanted ‘anything serious’, we were both quite smitten by the end of our freshman year. Tyler ‘officially’ asked Carly to be his girlfriend at the end of our freshman year on both his Mom and Grandma’s birthdays (04.23.16) at Carly’s Theta sorority formal. Since then, we have been together through numerous sorority events, a National baseball championship win, a professional baseball stint (thanks a lot Covid), college graduations, buying a home, raising our first and most furry child (Maizy), studying and earning our CFP certification on the same day and building our joyful and adventurous life together. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with our friends and family to kick off the next great milestone of our love story together.
