Time to Celebrate!

A trip of a lifetime, a chance meeting, a serendipitous moment—all came to one choice: to leave the comfort of home, experience a new place, meet new people, and travel halfway across the world. This single choice, which Carly decided to make, resulted in a beautiful love story. Like most epic love stories, Carly downloaded Tinder to swipe and to find cute Australians to show her around. Tristan was the first Aussie she met. Carly and Tristan met on Glenelg Beach in South Australia, where they bonded over American football, travel, and their home countries. After the first date, Carly knew Tristan was special. They would continue weekly dates until the world turned upside down about a month later. COVID-19 went into full swing and Australia closed its borders, meaning Carly was stuck in Australia. Their relationship continued to grow for the next 4 months. Traveling all over South Australia experiencing new places and making memories together. Carly had to leave to go back to the US. With COVID restrictions, the two were long-distance for eighteen months! While the distance was hard, Carly and Tristan's relationship continued to grow and flourish. Until one long-awaited day when the borders opened and the travel ban was lifted, they were finally reunited.
