We met through mutual friends at a group event. Our first and last time playing laser tag, haha! Our first few times hanging out was with our big group of friends. Game nights and all of our favorite holiday events. We quickly found out just how easy it was to spend all of our time talking, laughing and just enjoying each others company. After many date nights, travel plans and... a few amazing years later...

We were casually making date night plans later in the week, nothing out of the ordinary. I thought we had reservations at Ascend. Little did i know, this was all a decoy haha! Maybe a day before, Taras let me know that the reservation did not go through so he suggested a "last minute" change of plans to go have dinner in the Space Needle! Something that has been on my bucket list since I moved to Washington. Earlier in the day, I had a hair appointment that ended up running a little late. Taras showed up at my appointment to pick me up and my hair was still soppingggg wet. We went straight into rush mode, changed in the car, and made it to our dinner reservation JUST in time. We headed up to the top of the space needle and enjoyed a wonderful dinner view. Before we headed out, our waitress was taking some photos/ videos of us as the city lights passed us in the background. And that's when he popped the question :) The funny part is that neither of us even remember what we said. It was a complete surprise, filled with so much joy and emotion. The best day!! Afterwards, we had so many sweet friends and family facetiming with us and joined us at Joeys to celebrate!
