Where is the reception taking place?

Answer

The reception is taking place within the Marriott Hotel Syracuse Downtown in the Grand Ballroom located on the 10th floor. This is the primary hotel accommodation for guests where we have a block of rooms available.

How far apart is the church from the reception/hotel?

Answer

The church is 0.2 miles away from the hotel where the reception is taking place. It is truly a stones throw away! This is within walking distance but there will be transportation options for guests to and from if we experience inclement weather.

Question

How much time will there be between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

We will have roughly an hour and a half in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Feel free to visit the two restaurants within the hotel, Eleven Waters and Shaughnessy's.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The preferred dress code is semi-formal - suits for men and dresses for women. Prepare for Syracuse to be a bit chilly in February!

Will there be a coat check available at the reception?

Absolutely!

We love ALL of your children, however we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand!

Will there be vegetarian, vegan or allergy-friendly options available for dinner?

Answer

Yes! There will be a section on the RSVP to make note of these requests in advance.

Are there dining options near by the hotel that you recommend?

Answer

Tons! Downtown Syracuse has plenty of great places for all of your dining needs. A few of our favorites include: Apizza Regionale, Water Street Bagel, Pastabilities, The Fish Friar, Recess Coffee, The York, Original Grain, The Original Dinosaur BBQ, Empire Brewing Co. and many more.
