What's the plan?

Answer

On Monday 30 August, the bridal party and family staying on site can check in from 3pm. There will be welcome reception drinks and some food for this group, starting around 5pm until not too late. The wedding is on Tuesday 31 August, with the ceremony at 2pm, reception drinks, dinner and dancing (there will also be evening food). On Wednesday 1 September, we will be nursing some hangovers with some cocktails, beers and a BBQ around the pool, from around 1pm until early evening.

What time should we arrive on the Tuesday and Wednesday?

Answer

Tuesday: please arrive by 1:30pm for a 2pm Ceremony start. Wednesday: the Pool Party starts at 1pm!

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception on August 31, please wear semi-formal summer attire (e.g. light suits and summer dresses). For the garden/pool party, please feel free to wear casual attire and bring your swims!

Are children permitted to attend the wedding?

We are sorry that we will only be able to accommodate children of the bridal party.

What time will Wednesday's pool party go on until?

Answer

We hope that the pool party will go on all day and into the early evening, until around 7pm! We suggest staying over on the Wednesday evening if you can.

Is there parking on site?

Yes - there is ample parking for guests on site.

When can we explore the area?

Answer

The Ceremony will be at 2pm on Tuesday, and the Pool Party will start from 1pm on Wednesday. Therefore, we hope that you will have plenty of time on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings to explore all that North Devon has to offer.

What is the best way to get to the venue by train from London?

Answer

The easiest way is to get a train to Exeter, then a train from Exeter to Barnstable - we would recommend getting a taxi from there (approx. 15 mins).
